The slightly whimsical beach house is situated on a flat sand dune
overlooking a panorama of Lake Michigan. It is a two-story, hexagon shaped
structure that is inverted. That is, the kitchen and main living room are both
located on the top floor. Two large decks provide a variety of vistas, sounds,
and comfortable places to relax. The lower deck is screened, inviting
conversation, meditation, or a wonderful place to sleep during warm nights.
Features include: a woodstove downstairs, fireplace up; a Celestial reflector telescope, "giant" binoculars, three kayaks, two sailboats, a portable massage table and Barney the talking trophy. |
