Dustin and Jill both grew up in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. They meet in 1998 at the Family Resource Center, in Manistique. In the fall of the same year Dustin began attending  Michigan Technological University in Houghton, MI, graduating in 2002 with a degree in Business Administration. Upon graduation Dustin and Jill got married and moved to Boston, MA. Dustin began working for IBM as a software engineer. Jill worked for a home health company and at David's Bridal. 

After 2 years of traffic, high rent, and missing the beautiful U.P. Dustin and Jill decided to move back to Marquette, Michigan. They purchased 5 acres of land, with a beautiful creek, great blackberries, and a house that needed a little work. Fast forward 3 years, lots of remodeling and an expanding family Dustin and Jill were ready to move again. Green Heart was Born! 

Green Heart is located on 80 acres in Cooks, MI.

Our Goal: To be an example for families across America to live in a Healthy, Happy, Environmentally-Friendly Home.
